lo m8,
here's what i usually do (prob better way, so hang on 4 a bit)
1 - SAVE ALL important stuff, inc favourites and emails and stuff
2 - start up with win boot disk in drive
3 - choose "start computer without cdrom support"
4 - type "fdisk"
5 - polish up your brass balls
6 - delete primary and any other partitions
7 - create new primary dos partition
8 - restart computer with win boot disk in
9 - choose "start win setup from cd" option
10 - follow instructions
the most important thing is getting rid of your partition information and creating new ones, especially if you have had major probs. It rewrites all the important bootup stuff rather than just simply reformatting.
good luck m8, but try to wait as someone might offer you more knowledgeable advice and some tips.
cya :)
thanks deejaycee..............
you lost me after stage 1:laugh:
