Big Boss Man used to be my favourite wrestler, back when he was a good guy. X-Pac is better than most wrestlers and Road Dogg is my current favourite.

I have to disagree about Rick Flair though. His wrestling style makes the other opponents look a lot better than he actually is. That’s why he has so many feuds he up and coming wrestlers, He gets 'em over big time.

That's why Rick Flair is so good... He isn't a lumbering brute of a man, he uses his tactical and in-ring knowledge to great effect rather than his "pale, flabby" body...

Hmmm...worst wrestler...an interesting topic.

The problem is, though, is that my choices are probably gonna get laughed at. Thing is I'm a fan of the industry as a whole, not the individual shows...here goes

WWF: Mideon, Billy Gunn, Paul White (Big Show), The whole of Right To Censor (except Steven Richards - seriously!). Also The Rock is pretty ****e. Rocky Maivia (previous name) was fantastic, but the whole character of The Rock is very much a brawler with little in the way of wrestling, but since Chris Benoit (OFFICIALLY the best in the world) joined the WWF and is now in the title race, The Rock has started bring back bits of his whole Rocky Maivia persona - which is good.

WCW: Most of the employee roster!! They have got some big problems - did you know they are set to lose around $60-70 million this year alone?

ECW: The Sandman, Rhino, Justin Credible

Don't know a lot about the two main Japan circuits (New Japan and All-Japan) or the independants...

As a side note - Ric Flair is one of the BEST wrestlers ever: 16 World titles, 7 of those are LEGITIMATE sport competiton, not the scripted circus we know now. Besides, you don't get 13 scripted world titles if you are ****. Flair also has other titles dripping out of every pore - the guy is an industry god!

I guess I tend to rant, but this is an in-depth topic. Let me know what you guys think about this.

from what i have seen rick flairs matches have been crap. But kurt angle who also won legitimate obviously must have some real talent, like rick flair must have to win the legitimate titles but there is a big difference in entertainment,

Why does Rikishi suck? He ran over Austin, big deal! The WWF has designed this angle so that Rikishi gets the push he deserves to get him to world title status. Rikishi is a good wrestler for a big man. Anyway knowing the WWF they will make a giant swerve and say that someone else ran over Austin, not Rikishi. I hate Steven Regal, he is so lame.

No, the WWF won't say some1 else has done it. As you said, they've done this 2 elev8 his career, they won't suddenly turn back on that. As 4 Regal, HE'S AMAZING!! Of course with him being British, the WWF are making him look like 1 of these 'traditional' posh English types that can't stand these 'common' people. But I like the act, and if he does it well enough, the WWF may grant him the European title :).

I know this is a silly question, but you guys do know that it's 80% fake, don't ya?

The reason I ask is because everybody seems to be dissing the TRUE wrestlers of the organisations (not just the WWF, but the big three as a whole).

For example, Dean Malenko vs Steven Regal was a f*****g AMAZING match - it could easily have been a PPV event for the Lightheavy Title!! The thing is that they are true wrestlers and are very good at chain wrestling - yes all it is is arm-lock, leg-lock, arm-bar, hold, but the real talent is that - you try a move, it gets countered, you reverse the counter and so on. You make a mistake, though and your opponent has got you...that's the way it sould be.

Don't get me wrong, I love the big show that they have; the Hardy Boys are easily my favourite WWF tag team at the moment and their stunt shows are truly fantastic. Mmmm....Lita =).

The problem comes with the fact that the whole thig is a show, and hence the American audience don't like chain wrestling because they simply DON'T UNDERSTAND IT. What they watch is NOT wrestling - it's interactive gymnastics. Yes, it is bloody good at times and I really enjoy it, but I implore you not to becaome Americans with it and diss the true wrestlers just because they don't use chairs or perform suicide planchas every 30 seconds.

P.S. Kurt "I finally have an" Angle is the excpetion - he is main event calibre now and hence does the chair work - with the excpetion of Chris Benoit, the Radicals are NOT top liners.

P.P.S. Sweet Chin Music was NEVER an original move. It's only a super kick - it's now a very popular move with the martial artists (Al Snow, Steve Blackman, Perry Saturn, etc.) and in the industry as a whole. Therefore, Steven Richards is not ripping it off.

P.P.P.S Steven Richards is the only talent in Right to Censor - you guys remember the party animal character Stevie Richards? That's right - the good one. IT'S THE SAME GUY!
