Internet

I am using freeserve 24/7 and everything was working fine.
But then i decided to put a network in. The network is working fine between both pc's but the only thing thats messed up is my internet connection. I'm surfing the web and after say 5 mins the connection freezez for like 1-2 mins and then the connection starts to send and recive again.
But on my old pc the internet works fine and there is the same network card, same isp, and it doesnt freeze.
Ive swaped the modems around and still no sucess.

If i press F5 on my keyboard the connection starts to send and recive, put it doesnt work if i press refresh on the IE 5.5 taskbar.

Please help me cause ive formated my hard drive and everything and i dont want to press F5 every 3 mins or so.:)

Have you tried just leaving the connection as it's downloading a webpage, instead of refreshing? Also does this happen always and at all hours of the day?

From the description you have given it just sounds like normal modem behaviour.

Also have you got the latest drivers for the modem?
