conect speeds jumped from 30k to 115k ?!?!

well, at about 2pm i went online, and i got a connect speed of 30k instead of my usual 45k on wireplay internet.

weird i though, oh well i wont be on long anyway, and carried on what i was doing.

then for no apparent reason, i got cut off, so i reconnect, but this time reach 115k ?!?!

thats a first time ever btw, but the speed doesnt seem noticeable, coz i tried d/l and i got slower than my usual.

anybody got any explanations? oh and im in the middle of the southern flash floods, if anybody has seen the news today, that might have sometihng to do with it?

That a problem with your machine, its reporting the connection speed to the modem port..not the modem connection speed itself..try reinstalling drivers etc...

or visit http://www.lagless.com, as slime can explain the differences on his site and offer a solution to always show true connected speed, AFAIK this only usually is an issue with External modems.
