I know you guys have done miracles with the resources you have but I have to say that I can't be having with the constant dissapointment of not being able to play.

I read your reply to my last post and logged on with anticipation and found, yet again that the system can't recognise TA on my computer, whilst writing this I'm receiving 2837053 bytes and sending 2195355 bytes.

I know that you guys are experiencing enourmous difficulties but I think that this game is too much and that you should concentrate on the rest... I'll continue to log onto wireplay to get the latest updates and If I get to play a game on WP3 I'll come and buy you guys a drink cos you deserve it for at least trying. But sorry to say, not as often as normal because we have been promised so much by those people above you without their consulting your team.

I almost cried with anticipation as I logged on this evening only to have my hopes dashed once again, so I recon that I will never again, be able to play TA on wire play.

Thanks to your team for trying, and I wish you all the best for the future...

Its probably my 4yr old system thats the problem anyway

I hope you all have great successes in the future and Sign myself off as follows

but was too thick to understand!

p.s. Sorry for any insults I hurled at anyone whilst playing on the net, (or talking).

Alz,

You will probably not read this but I am sorry to hear that you have had problems with the service. We will look into the performance of Wireplay on slower performance machines.

Sorry that you have left Wireplay. I hope that we will see you back one day soon. Or ,and I say this hopefully, that your words were said in a moment of stress and fustration.

If you read this post could you post the spec of your machine so I can use it as a benchmark.

If the above is not the Info you want tell me and I will post whatever you want to know.

p.s. as my system will support the full range of pentium processors, is it worth upgrading?

on a different note...I can get into the gamroom and be recognised by the people there when I click on Games set up already, I just cant Join those Games, nor can I set one up myself...the Game setup button stays greyed out...and when I try setup the system says that I don't have TA installed...I think that I'm going to reformat my computer on Saturday, Reinstall everything and try again, oh and I am able to use the chatrooms....Keith

Cheers for the mail Main Flame,

Your computer spec is exactly what I wanted from you. I am surprised (and please do not think I am being rude) that you wher able to run Flight Sim 2000 at all. I had a spec very similar to yours until recently and found that I was unable to run anything, hence why I upgraded.

I think rebuilding the machine is drastic but not such a bad idea. I infact usually go through the process of rebuilding every six months.

What we have found on some occasions is that for some weird reason the set up does not write an entry to the Direct Play file in the regestry. This could be the reason why the game cannot be found.

Try either re-installing TA or when you have rebuilt do the same.

Cheers mate and glad to see that you read the post.
