I connect to wp3 using adsl:D
the CS servers have a tick against the 'open'servers and I connect to ticked and non-ticked servers....
I thought us adsl ppl couldn't connect to all the servers?

Shhh ;), I think they have opened up the servers to the outside world (I can connect to a closed Q2 server from work) However they probably are just testing at the moment and will turn it off again soon :(
Of course I may be wrong ;)

i thought u could because btopenworld has bt ips arent they allowed on powerplay servers
well works for me anyway

That could be true, but my works leased line isn't via BT..... :) and I could connect to a 'closed' server.

OK guys, lets keep STOOM about this cause I really like wp3:D
gamespy sux and connecting thru the cd is woefull
ADMIN LOCK/CLOSE/DELETE this thread NOW pls, then destroy it, then shoot anyone connected to it, lastly blow up the server it was on, resign from WP and emigrate........or just keep it quiet:P

Hang on a sec ... I seem to remeber reading somewhere that WP3 was going to make all servers "Open" ... wtf has happenned to that idea then?
