14 October Flight

We are hoping to have a flight on Saturday at 14:00 using WP3. The lads at WP have been woking on the problem that we had last week and hopefully fixed it.

For those of you who wish to be part of this flight we shall be flying from Manchester Rny 6L and landing at Charles-De-Gaulle Rny 9 using Boeing 737 aircraft. The flight time is 56 minutes and will reach an altitude of 31,630 feet with a cruise speed of 460 kts.

As you will see small aircraft like Cessna 172 will not be suitable for this flight. So if you want to fly at least a 737 is needed.

I've got an F14A, it is small, but would you like a race?
Or a F15-C Eagle,or an RAF Eurofighter Typhoon (complete with Sidewinders), or an SR-71 Blackbird?

Doesn't one of you have the beautiful Douglas NATS DC-3, now that is a marvelous aircraft(23mb), can we fly in those?

For the serious among us i don't like the idea of flying FS2K online when someone is going to fly an F14, if this is the case maybe we should be playing Falcon 4 then i can shoot your little ass out the sky but as we are transporting 140 passengers (albeit simulated) from Manchester to CDG i dont think the sight of an F14 would make their in flight meal go down very well do you?

I had both Wireplay 2.30 and Wireplay 3 open and was refreshing the proposals every 30 sseconds wehn i wasn't talking to Deano777 on icq!
This new WP3 is complete bollicks!!

Why are you running two versions of WP at the same time? That could be the reason you missed the game. It was on WP3 Rev1 at 13:55hrs and we were flying by 14:00hrs.

WP brought out R1 2 days after launch of WP3. You can get it from the home WP page.

i've got that, trying to logon with the original WP3 tried to take me to a link to download the new vwrsion. i've got the new version but me hinks the probs i had on saturday was with running two Wp browsers/clients.
