Problem with WP3 and Teams-Classic......

Not a problem as such except that hardly anyone is using it and I think I know why - although it'll sound daft :E

Since all those new arenas have been put on, Teams-Classic is near the bottom of the list and can't be seen unless you scroll down so it looks like the only arenas being used are FFA and Rookies.

The arenas seem to be in alphabetical order so if someone can rename it 'Classic Teams' instead of 'Teams Classic' it will sit at the top of the list where everyone can see it properly :)

At time of posting there are 28 in ffa , 18 in Rookies and 0 in teams ........

And how about shutting down 2.3 soon?

Having servers split across two patforms makes it look like hardly anyone is playing, tonight when I just looked there were c50 people over all arenas and all servers. If you looked at WP3 it looks like hardly anyone plays.

Like I said in another thread Mebe, WP3 is still too unstable and we still don't have pw protected PAs. I agree that having both platforms is diluting the popularity, this was one of my initial concerns to Mac when he told me the news a few weeks ago.

Sort of caught between two stools now, we have to keep 2.3 going until 3 is stable. I just want 3 to be stable asap - for the reasons you state.

No doubt we'll hear something shortly (TK?). :)

Don't be expecting to much to soon guys as the dev team are pretty much tied up with sorting the issuse with wp3 before they even look at doing little bits'n'bobs for us. But i guess until those issuse are sorted tis probably best to have to platforms to play with anyway.

I have the dev team looking at a few things relating to AA at the moment (dont tell WP3 manager tho...) so hopefully we should have something within the next few days...

In the meantime I'll change the name of teams so it sits higher in the game tree.

I'm glad someone managed to extract the irony out of my statement!

And why is it no one thanks me for taking the 5 seconds of my valuable life to ask TK to change the teams arena in the tree? Ignorance, that's what it is, ignorance. :(
