'Rookie' Private Arenas vs the Air Attack Community

Time = 8pm, Sunday 29th October 2000
In a Private Arena, pass to be announced later on this NB. No need to email me, but it would be nice to know a rough estimate of people interested.:)

ALL are invited.

It will be the 1st Birthday of our Rookie group at the start of November, so to celebrate we will take on the whole AA community in a teams game. We will fly GB, everyone else will join as GE, SU, or US. We can all battle each other, or it will be Rookies vs all.

I would like to invite anyone who has been a 'Rookie' member in the past to join the game as GB along with the existing Rookie members.

As well as a birthday bash it will also be a thank you to all those who were ever involved, and those who continue to turn up weekly, for our 'Rookie' group. It will also be my farewell as I am stepping down from the 'chief' rookie position. This will now go over to Darius, a very enthusiastic rookie who has the energy to take the group further than I could. My energy for this game is fading at the moment.

PLEASE COME ALONG AND GIVE US A SCRAP! I know there will be many 'Rookie' GB flyers anticipating a good scrap.

don't want to be the bearer of bad news :( but I received an email from feathers the other day (IJ asked for it to be forwarded to all the refs).

The jist of it was , IJ is organising an event on sunday 29th october @ 8pm (maybe you 2 need to talk and re-arrange dates :)

Ah well we Rookies always play at this time anyway. Rocky ok'd it and should be pimping it in the Newsletter. Dunno about 'official', but this will still go ahead, as long as servers hold.

sarge m8, yeah - rookies always play at this time, but, if the rookie game you want involves the rest of the community, and there is another event, surely it make ssense to talk & work something out, otherwise 1 or the other (or both) games, will not get the turnout you were hoping for ??

Sure I make sense there... I'd already decided I would go for the officials V's the rest, but would also like to play the rookie game, I can only do one, and I'm sure that speaks for a lot of people (As an [AARA]referee & a member of your rookie group I have an interest in both)

Bugger - sorry, this is my fault. :(

I ok'd Homer's event a while back and basically forgot the exact date when I ok'd IJs too. This isn't an IJ special event, it's a special Rookies Birthday Bash organised by Homer alone.

I'll speak to IJ and Homer on ICQ and I'm pretty sure we can work something out.
