Problems playingh H&D using GeForce 2 GTS 64MB.........

Hi all, is anyone out there using a GeForce 2 and able to play H&D?
I have a problem that either after the Breifing the screen is either completly blank or all is blue and I can only see highlighted buttons (eg next, prevous screen buttons). The same thing happens to the screen after the mission ends and I have to exit it the game and restart to correct it. But again after the breifing setions all goes blue.
When playing the mission its perfect no problems at all. Its seems to happen when returning from the 3D enviroment.
At the mo I can not play single player mode because after the breifing screen I can see anything so I cant continue.
Have downloaded the lastest drivers for the GeForce and also tried the 1.3 patch for H&D.
Does anyone know of a fix or work around?

These Gfx problems are all Directx related and im almost positive that your using either 7 or 7a more likely. Unfortunately i dont know how to fix the Geforce problems it looks like the voodoo problems were solved a while back but i cant help with geforse :( check http://www.illusionsoftworks.com or .net im not sure ;)

email them about your problem and theyll best advice you.

P.S Just checked the Illusion Softworks webbie and well, hmmm, is a bit of date. The last new update was April!!!! ;)

Yeah unfortunately they dont update the site often but if you find there support link then the email contact and send them all the info they need they do get back to you so its worth a try. id do it for you myself as i have before but i dont have your systme spec. post it here or to them and ill see what i can do.

Just remember a full spec is needed i.e. Directx version from running DXDIAG in c:programfiles\directx is neeeded as well as all hardware and software versions..

too late i email them yesterday, i just put DirectX 7.1a

BTW....are you the bruce i have seen on the HL CS servers? :)

Shouldnt matter about the Direct x thing except in less you emailed 7.1a cos there aint a 7.1a :E i guess you mean 7a heh.

ok im having the same probs with the same card, cept i cant see sod all after the 3d map breifing part, can you message this forum if you had any response from your e-mail pls, as id very much like to play H&D again...

Marty go here www.reactorcritical.com and download the lastest drivers.
This worked for me.
