Just bought BG2, what should i expect?

just spent my hard earned £30 on BG2 and was wondering what i should expect and if you could offer me any tips etc.

Choose your main character class carefully as this is the only character you're stuck with. There aren't that many decent fighter npcs, at least early on, so you may want to consider some type of fighter as your main character.

Alignment - The games slightly weighted towards good characters. You can play it through as evil, but you'll have fewer npc to pick from, especially for the first few chapters.

As for what you can expect, well, great story line, improved ai, spells and graphics from BG and IWD. Oh, and shed loads of Shadow Thieves, Vampires and Kobolds :eek:

expect multiple instance sof checking your watch only to find it is tomorrow and you should have gone to bed 6 hours ago. Not to be beaten I bought mine at pcworld for 25 wuid with a 5 quid voucher from pc gamer :)
