I heard about Crimson Skies a year ago (roughly) and thought it sounded intriguing...and then next thing I know, it's in meh local Game today :)
So, is it any good?

Yep I'll second that - it's fun :E
I only just got it today but having played a few of the campaign missions my first impressions are it's pretty good :)

Cool...I might pick it up post-Christmas. Saving up for Red Alert 2 at the moment :)
It's a great game.
Read the playtest on the wireplay website :)
Just one question is it as lagged as mech3 is(same basic engine)?

1. Shut the curtains.
2. Turn up 9 speaker system as load as blood-loss thru the ears will alloy
3. Plug in force feedback joystick.
4. Play Crimson Skies with manic grin on face. Ignore dusty eyeballs as lack of blinking causes contact lenses to fall out in protest.
Fabulous stuff, oooozing in atmosphere, very playable and great fun!

Well terra as it appears that getting to endinburgh on a sunday is also difficult(why is it that all transport from glasgow gets truly fecked up on a sunday) i will have to try and look for a flight from glasgow but go don't have any gggrrr so i'll need to have a look around.

What I want and need to know is how much does it cost in the US( CRIMSON SKIES)
We don't know much about US prcies m8 - this is very much a UK forum although we'll welcome people from anywhere.
