Where the hell are my swords and armour??

I decided to import a character with decent weapons and armour.. the problem is.. I CANT FIND THEM!!! I want them before i leave the fooking dungeon! PLZ HELP!

I read from the programmers from BG that not many would be in the starting dungeon and few would actually make it into the game.

But you can import ya characters but not the weapons/armour :(

They had to do that, to tie in with the plot and to balance the game properly in the starting areas. If you were a mage, you'd probably sell your prisoner's two-handed sword +3 and full plate armour, since you can't use 'em yourself.

Don't worry, most of it turns up. I found most of my stuff that I was carrying (i was a thief) my shadow armour was on maevar, long sword +1 in dungeons. Couple of better swords on my travels including a short sword + 2 which I had. You know, the one you get from the bounty hunter in the first game that also does frost damage. I found (and then promptly lost) my cloak of detection though i dont really care. Now all i'm looking for are my short sword of backstabbing and boots of speed. They were sooo useful. However the stealth boots are filling in... :0
