what to do with these items

I was in the bridge area and decided to go and pick pocket some old man and found exotic furs or something. then i went into the house where the elemental lich lives and got a golden ribcage or something like that. anyone know what to do with them?

The torso is part of a sub quest involving liches (surprisingly ;)). If you go to the docks area, just to the left of the Mae'Var guild hall, there's a house with a trapped door (just wander about a bit detecting traps) - in there's a similar kind of temple to the one you found, but instead of a lich there's a golden skull who asks you to retrieve the rest of his body. The torso is part of it, you also need to find the arms and legs and take them to him. I believe they're in the Unseeing Eye bit, but I've not done that myself (well, I kinda half did it, but missed a large part of it out).

As for the furs, I have no idea - sorry!

yeah like crane said the rest of golden skeleton in the tomb by unseeing eye bit. get him his skeleton and get owned by him thats how it goes heh...
