WPD and WIN2K

Does Wireplay Direct actually work with Win2k?
If not, WHY NOT? :(
I cant get it working on mine, WP3 wont load as it says it cant connect. Gamespy wont connect either.
I have tried connecting to a powerplay server in the console in HL, it said failled after 4 retries.
I havent touched the WPD dial up settings, is there anything I need to change in there cos I know some players can connect using WPD in windows 2000

Hi,

I have looked into the problem with Wireplay Direct and Win 2K and these observations to make.

1. When were you having these problems. Last weel we were having problems with one of the WPD modem racks which could be the cause of some of the problems.

2. When you installed Wireplay the set-up automatically configures your WPD DUN. Did it ask you to select a modem and if so was it displaying the correct ones. Check which modem you are using.

3. If you are an advanced user you could look at the DUN config and manually re-configure if you need to.

I am sorry that I cannot be more specific. I have not had a problem nore has any of my collegues or extenal test users. If you are still having problems post back a note with more specific problems like 'cannot connect all', 'invalid user name and password'....ect.
