Another Outlook Express prob...

This time a clash with McAffee AV.
I got Outlook Express v5, and McAffee v 4.02.
When using Express it is leaving msimn task running, and I think it is casuing IE to hang as well (if not whole PC).

MS site lists the problem but says it is McAffee's problem, but I cannot find it in McAffee's support stuff. Have tried re-installing IE5.5 (and hence Outlook Express 5), but it still does it.

McAffee has not been changed since PC installed, except to add new .DAT files.

(hence I blame MS as they have forced me to upgrade to IE5.5 by no longer supporting the older ones...and it was ok till then)

Anyone seen this? Anyone have any solutions...

Trouble is I ain't got a copy of IE5 (or can't find one yet). So when I uninstall 5.5 it goes back to IE4 and an older Outlook Express (which doesn't find me email). I could find an IE5 disk (an old cover disk) and do this if no-one has any better ideas.....but then I loose the chance of any more updates (including security fixes) from the MS site....

so if I can get IE5.5 working I would be much happier...
