If your going for an IDE drive, save yourself the trouble and follow this simple rule.

1> Buy IBM
2> See 1

Other than that I'd recommend http://www.dabs.com. They are going some could good deals on the older type (Deskstar 40) of IBM 30 and 40Gig drives. U will not notice much/any difference from the newer ones in general usage.

I have suppied and used many different brands of disk and IBM have always been the best.
