Wireplay really has gone downhill, For the last week or so I get disconnected atleast once every 5 minutes from Unreal Tournement on Wireplay.

Tried tracert ipaddress on WP servers and wahey!! it gets routed around new york!!! to goto the UK server.

When are Wireplay going to address this problem with BT.

Do you really think people will keep gaming on your servers when they really are pathetic!

Barrysworld is fine!
Even some of the german servers are better than the UK ones, What the hell is going on!

Its about time BT spent some of their profits on decent Engineers who know how to setup routing or have BT taken the same option as other tight arse company's in the UK who think they can get good Systems Engineers for less than 10K


Hope things improve soon or I may never even bother to look at WP again and take it out of my favourites because the gameplay is disgraceful!

methinks blowing up BT vans is a tad unfair, you have to remember, its not the engineers fault that the management causes a load of problems (any BT engineer I've ever met does a great job, seems like it is, as per, management screwing up everything). I know its been while since my last post, But I steer clear of anything with BT or Wireplay on it these days.

But fear not, NTL are doing ther best to sort out their cable network and when they do, BT can KISS about 90% of there Customers asses goodbye.

It always puzzles me why the BT advert on TV says' Every day thousands of Customers are coming back to BT' Jesus How many did they lose ? the advert ws on the TV for over a year!!! does that not rap it all up with BT. they lose about 2 million Customers a year, get about 50,000 back and they think they sould brag about it... there off their trolleys.

Happy as f*ck on NTL cable network. 500K sec DL/128L upload. Kiss BTs ass goodbye and get on with the real gaming and dont let the otheres that have a ping of 40 think they are better than they really are :)

Well, It woul be nice to come on here and say something nice about Gameplay/Wireplay but there really is nothing to say nice about it.

It sucks. They know people are having absolutely sh*te games and they do nothing about it, Why ? because the revenue is coming in and until everyone stops using (Which they will) they will do nothing about it.

I have seen some muppets in my time, But Reality takes the biscuit.

But then he is Gameplay/Wireplay staff, So his interests are to make this peice of ****e look good.

As I said in the last post on your other thread, post a traceroute in the relevant forum, and we'll work out where your problem lies :)

Wireplay have no control over your connection, unless you use wireplay direct :)

I aint got the time tonight for the trace route to complete (it has so many hops, 40 millisecs per hop, no wonder the gameplay is wan*.

Do a trace route to Barrys world and you get about 3 hops.
Wireplay you get about 15 hops 15 x 40 = 420.

This has been going on for Months and Months and this is not the first complaint I have seen about your crumy network performance. Why do you not react on Customer complaints ?

If your not going to employ the right people to do the job properly why do you bother, What is the point of the service you are trying to provide?

I really do think you are going out of your league.
Why not sell it on again to someone who has the interest of the Customer.

It takes less then a minute to do a traceroute and paste it into a post (you've speant the best part of an hour slagging Gameplay off), lets see that traceroute :)

and as I said, Gameplay (of which I am NOT an employee, I unfortunately have a crappy office job I wouldn't wish on anyone) have NO control over other ISP's and the route they take to connect to the WP servers.

If you are suffering from lag, then use wirplay Direct. This is a connection that Wireplay have total control over, and is about 1 hop away from their servers :)

My "arrogant" tone came from the fact that in your first post tonight you called all wireplay users dumb, something I thought that someone with your obviously far superior intelligence would pick up on :eek:

Firstly, if wireplay is so bad why do you spend so much time slagging it off?

Secondly, if it is as bad as you say then your posts tonight must have taken ages to do.

As Reality says there are a lot of people who spend there free time on these forums trying to help other gamers out. They should not have to argue with muppets like yourself. If you can't produce the goods then don't keep on how bad the package is.
