Faster cable modem trials from ntl - Tuesday, October 17, 2000

ntl is set to launch yet more cable modem service trials, this time in the Teeside franchise, according to a cablenews:uk source. The first will be a 1mbps version of the existing service, while another will be a 2mbps service aimed at businesses. No prices were given, although the services will apparently begin trials on 1st November.

The same email also suggested that a wireless service from ntl could start testing in January.
