Pausing with mouse?

Can anyone tell me how to allocate the pause function to a mouse button? Might cut down on the amount of tea, beer and ash I keep dropping into the keyboard jabbing at the spacebar :)

You can't assign pausing to a mouse button, but you can pause the game by clicking on the little window full of clockwork, at the left of the bottom toolbar.

Not even with an intellimouse explorer? I've only just got one, and there doesn't seem to be an option on that either to assign the spacebar to a button.
