I am currently in development of a BIG digimon story,but the digi-destined are'nt involved as much as the new characters.This story is about the chronoworld,a parallel world to digiworld,with its own little monsters.Some of the characters do resemble each other though.Here they are with their digi-equivelants:

Matthew:Surprisingly,NOT Matt.He is more like Tai.
Dorothy:She's like Sora
Andy:He's the equivelant of Izzy.
Daphne:Unfortunately,she's rather a lot like Mimi.
Mark:He is like Joe,but is not the oldest in years,just months.
Sonya:Resembles Kari.
Tony:Not like anyone.
Zoe:She's more like Kari than anyone else,but not much.She is'nt really the equivelant of anyone either.

They are all English,and are at the same age(14),except Tony(12),Sonya(12),and Zoe(11).

Here are the connections:

Matthew and Dorothy:They live near each other.Matthew has a crush on Dorothy,but would never admit it.
Andy and Daphne:They are cousins.
Mark and Sonya:Brother and sister.
Tony and Zoe:Brother and sister.

Strangely enough, I'm also writing a digimon story as well. here is the introduction.....

'Deception'

"Sir, our readings are showing something weird" the white coated lab scientist informed the suited man standing a few metres away from him "What is it, Doctor Savage?", "This is something we've never seen before........this could be something big....", "No, not another virus type digimon, we have enough problems as it is already" groaned the suited man. Dr. Savage replied "Whatever it is, it could be attempting a cross-dimensional jump to our world..." "Well, I see no other option but to send in the armed forces to settle......the 'matter'.." "But sir," Dr. Savage protested "The media has been getting awfully suspicious about all those US soldiers dissappearing, and what if the UN find out? What then?" "Don't you know how long we've known about the digiworld and how long we've been reasearching and exploring their technology, and most of all, how long we've kept this away from the public? We are not going to let a few army dissappearances get in the way of the greatest discovery ever, the discovery of a new dimension and all the possibilities it opens up.......I'd say it was a small sacrifice, when we sent in the troops into the digiworld.........it is only a few deaths and nothing else. Besides, what we don't tell the public can't harm them, isn't that right Dr. Savage?" "....Y-Yessir" Dr. Savage nervously said. "Anyway, I don't see what you have to be worried about. The soldier clones will be ready in a matter of hours. Now get back to work, I have other issues to deal with" and with that, the man walked out of the lab door, a black suitcase in hand.......
