Well i recon Angel is quite good, a bit darker and more action packed than buffy. As for y it came into existnece, i dont really know, spose that joss weedon saw an opportunity to make some more money and get some good cross series story lines going so he went for it. Also gives the ladies summit to lust after and watch as well.

Hi,

I reckon that the Angel Character is strong enough to have his own series. Also when alls said and done you can aso have lots of cool crossovers and new characters.

Whats the problem ?

Shame C4 have been cutting the episodes up though.

They're planning to re-show them early next year uncut, in a later time slot..

Just a shame that C4 ever decided to cut them in the first place :(

Having seen the whole of Angel (as any self-respecting Buffy fan with Sky should have done), I have to say that there is very much a point. The whole idea of fighting for retribution is a neat one, and the slightly darker tone allows the amazingly talented writers to explore some new angles.

For real evidence of Angel at it's very finest, DO NOT MISS the second half of the double-bill on 27th October (6.10pm, I think)...episode 9, Hero. Like I said, DO NOT MISS!

Me and my BF have a disopute over which theme music is best angels or buffys - i go with angels.

my gf and me had a (hypothetical!) discussion about wedding music and what she wanted to walk down the aisle to...

i suggested 'i want to break free' by queen (and got slapped :( ) but we came to a compromise on the theme to angel :)

...on a side note.
Channel 4 is a bugger for showing science fiction series and the like in a far too early timeslot and then butchering the program to fit.

They also like to move the programames around a lot in the schedules so that you have to watch 24/7 just so that you don't miss the re-scheduled timeslot...
