View Full Version : @hg1.connection......heres a quick fix that works 9 out of 10 times

After the same feckin probs as everyone else, including a day off work yesterday to get connected for 3 hours in the whole FECKIN DAY FFS:angry: the nice lady in tech support said that it's a cache problem at their end, however it's good to do the following...................

shut yer puter down, then disconnect usb modem.........start pc and let everything load....then put usb back in, let lights go green, then fir back in....

if it don't work then they are def down at their end, however the cache remembers sometimes that you couldnt get on and still keeps you out.........or summit like that she said.....

anyway, let me know if it works m8's

I was given this advice...and i think its crap. Just trying to get you off their backs. The problem is definitly with the HG1 server.

Complain below:

it doesn't work if the server is down for all......but if it aint then this works, I've done it often enough:laugh:

just trying to be helpfull..........

You'd be f@cking moaning too...I was just letting you know it doesn't work. Their server is sh1t. It is down almost every evening ffs.

I try this every time i have connection problems. My service is so tempremental, will not work then an hour later it does.

I dont understand..I'm hg1 and i've not (touches wood again) had any connection problems with it for weeks. I connect at around 5.30 every evening and stay online until between 10pm - 2am??

Serpics, connected for ages today and then went for a cuppa, didn't leave myself connected, when I came back I couldn't connect, did what ya said and it worked a dream.
