Yeah, but does it make all the servers Open Play which the original WP3 was supposed too ...

If not it ain't worth Jack Sh!t and it a waste of my time ...

Great forums, lousy number of Open Play servers ... you would be doing youselves a favour if you openned all the servers like you originally said you were going to with WP3. Look at how busy the open play servers get in the evening, most nights i can't get onto them so off I go to gamespy to find another server that doesn't need to use a specific Dial up and off I go - SORT IT OUT !!!

Anything else in there that might improve P2P games. We still got that prob where if the proposer of a three or four player game gets killed first then it stops the whole game. Also i watched in horror the other night as a pop up advert reared up and killed me PC. It locked everything up. It may be my comp but it doesnt happen anywhere else.

Anyone get this latest version to run for more than 5 minutes without crashing??

I'm getting illegal op errors from it non-stop.
Air Attack is still booting everyone every 5 minutes as well.

No probs here with it Luke , just played UT on it for 3 hours without even a bit of lag.

If illegal ops happen everytime, i suggest this.

Either redownload it and before installing it. uninstall all other versions of wp3.

If that dont help and you STILL get Illegal ops try this.

Goto start then run
Type in msconfig.
Goto top right where it says startup and click it.

Remove all ticks from everything bar Systray and explorer.

click apply at bottom and restart pc as requested.

Retry Wp3 when u boot up again.

If it works then there is something in your startup that is conflicting with wp3. Readd items one at a time in the msconfig , startup and retest each time to find the culprit.

if this dont work repost.

I am very interested in your problem as I have been not been able to reproduce. Other users have complained about four or more player TA games bombing out.

I you do not mind me asking what spec is your machine so I can use it as a bench mark.

pop up adverts, grrr.
Don't worry we got them removed as soon as we saw them :E.

It may be a connection fault like as yur trying to get it run on close proximity machines synching in the game wouldnt be a problem for you. Over true net it may be.

We also got the more than 4 pees in a prop, but thats actually good, i think when things are more sorted you could run at 6 peeps ok for us.

Also the one big bug bear is the fact that proposer dyeing kills the whole game, if it wasnt for that Ta would be up and gunning for more newbies. We have just had a nice influx of new players now that it is semi ok.

Also far more peeps now are using free connections and this you will now never change. Some are good some are ok till their ISP hits a certain usage level then it go real slow. I dont think this is true lagg but possibly packet loss but the efect in our games is that it looks like it is lagged.

Hey guys apart from these last couple of things Ta is really looking good again, i mean it. I havnt played so much Ta in over a year. And i cant get enough of it again. Lol im begging to look like old vampey you know Velvet. Im going pale looking and got these huge bags under me eyes. Lol i must get some sleep !!!!
