Any ideas?

I installed a nice new USB mouse a few days ago. Unfortunatley it messed up my modem connection (Supra 56ePro). Was lagging every few seconds. Needless to say, guessed that it was the mouse and switched it to a PS/2 port. Any ideas how I can stop it happening with any other USB devices I get?

Sounds like a USB hub power problem, check the settings in your device manager when you have the two plugged in and see what it says the USB power usage is, failing that can you update your USB hub drivers,or do they only come with the MoBo drivers.
