Help wp2.3

ive just had to re-download this and set it up but its screwed - every time i try and load it up my computer starts to run like a slug and the gameplay is impossible. Anyone got any ideas ?

plus when i close the game off my computer is till running slowly and i have to re-boot

grrrrr :( pleae help as i need it for matches/practises etc - oh wp3 works fine no problems.

i had this twice each time its ok until it gets to the last server it checks and then the HD goes into overdrive.

only way i sorted it was a reinstall cant remember exactly how i did it but i needed to repatch it when i installed it

I have asked TK but he must be busy, but as FB states, there is a little patch issued by WP to fix this. I remember now, thanks. I have no idea where you get it from other than FB's kind offer.

Hes not seen on the NB til theres a tech problem then 'ding' up pops FB to the rescue!!

i tried uninstalling/reinstalling last night to no avail so swapped my puter back to my old hdd which still has 2.3 installed on it and it worked fine - cheers FB ill check out that file l8r m8 when i get home and give it a try.

Soz for not replying guys, been a bit off with a ruddy cold.

Anyhoos its defo wvgames.dll, as Wireview doesnt auto-patch when run, but it does patch when you run wp2.3 (so reinstalling wont fix anything, you gotta run 2.3 so it patches wireview). Sticking that file in your wireplay2.3 folder and over writing the file already there will fix the prob.

This happens all the time actually, and I've even uploaded it to me site cos so many people have asked me abut it over the last 6 months or so...

If you still have probs with it giz an email adn we'll see what else we can do...

I got it working yesterday after re-formatting.

Install the old Wireplay first then the new one, in that order. Look for the file wvpowerplay.exe in the old Wireplay and drag it to your desktop for a shortcut.
