Windows 2000 & Air Attack

I have managed to get Air Attack working under Windows 2000 except that the throttle on my MS Sidewinder Precision Pro is greyed out. The throttle did work when I had the old AA installed (7.6mb) but when it upgraded to the latest version the throttle won't work , even in practice mode

Any ideas, I already have direct X8 installed

i'm afraid nothing springs to mind, the AA software is fairly old, and comes as is. given that win 2k and dx8 weren't even around when it was made, it might just be one of those things....

you got the latest win 2k drivers for the joystick, ya?
