Anyone know how to get the throttle working on a MS Sidewinder Precision Pro when running Windows 2000. The throttle is greyed out in the option menu, however it did work in the old Air Attack before the client was upgraded.
Everything else works and I have already installed DirectX 8

I had the same prob, and I never managed to fix it. I'm not sure if anyone else could tho, but here's a toppage just in case.

ok, let me try this, it worked for me. go into the set up screen, and uncheck the throttle, then exit said screen, then back in to set up screen, and check the throtle box, and TADA. Hope it works.
The box is greyed out, so you cant tick or untick it....

I can't recall any problems I had with Win2k & AA.
In fact I ran FA2 & AA pretty well on Win2k. I would still be using it now but for the fact that the sidewinder software is not Win2k compatible. (Screwed my AA flying up bigtime due to no key mapping, ok for FA2 though as I could map keys within the game.)
Having said that...Mut should have version 4 of this by now...........MUUUUUUUUUUUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT c'mere and tell me if it works with Win2k
