I would really like to give that a go too, I have an external Creative Modem Blaster, to be honest the thing is godly, I get a ping of about 115-120 on Kingpin without connecting via Wireplay, instead i use Telewest Surfunlimited. I generally get better pings off peak, i expect that tho, but I would like to lower it coz I cannot afford to upgrade to ADSL or Cable right now. I did try connecting 2 modems at once when I first got my external modem, by using the multilink option in Windows 98 dial up settings, I connected the first modem fine, then when the other one connected the connection froze then after about a minute it went back to one Modem. I would really appreciate the help on this matter, it could mean us modem users actually being able to compete with the 40 ping lpbs... grrrrr. h8 those lpbs... Long live the modem!!!
