View Full Version : what FSB Speed and Multiplier

I have just aquired a few new bits and pieces in the form of :
ABIT KT7-RAID Mobo
TBird 1Ghz CPU
256 CAS2 133Mhz RAM
G-Force card

My question is when setting up my BIOS, what should I set my FSB speed and multiplier to ?

Initially just plug it in and start it up. When the em count screen etc appears hit Del to enter BIOS. Go ito SoftMenu iii then set the cpu speed to UserDefine. Set the CPU\FSB speed to 100/33(shoud be that as default) now set the Multiplier to 10. Now exit and restart. Once you are in windows and running steady then come back her or look ere for all the tweaks youll ever need :)

If your bios is the UL version, it has a default setting for a 1Ghz cpu anyway, if you have UT version then upgrade it via the links at the faq that HAdes wrote
