Ok heres the prob. On my windows drive, I have this directory called _RESTORE, and its taking up a hell of a lot of space - all the rest of my drive in fact. BUT, thing is, the actual size is 137mb, but the size on disk is 969mb. Its the 969mb thats the prob (Win ME OS).
I've tried deleting the folder, but its write-protected and being used by windows. Now, i should really be having about 800mb free space on this drive, but its this directory thats taking up the space. I've tried booting up in safe mode and tried to delete it, but no luck there :/ I even tried using deltree command for the directory, still nothing
Is there anyway for me to delete this thing. BTW, I don't use system restore feature, and I think this is what this really is, but I didnt ask for it!!?!! Its sucking my hard drive empty
Plz help
