Gave up waiting

well i gave up on my order from gameplay and canncled it :/ i think waiting almost an month with no game is about as long as i would wait for it to even get processed.

SO is the game achually worth it i played the demo the machine guns move to hit the target :/ so its not that hard at all to take out every plane in the demo on your own with out needed wingmen.

is the multiplayer like this i hope it aint

Also are all the missions so flat.. they seem very 2d no depth no real feel like your in combat.

i supose this is cos the demo missiosn were small how big does the combat get then. cos im no woundering wether or not to get it now.

Hmmm to be honest JR i prefer going to my local shop, then if theres a prob its so easy just to take it back and change it. Horses for courses as they say. I pre ordered Crimson and picked it up first available issue day.
As for the game being too 2D, i suppose that depends on yer pc spec, admittedly i'm running a fairly high spec, but i havent heard any bad feed back from peeps with lower spec pc's.....yet !
As for the missions being to flat.....wahoooo you obviously havent flown through the clouds and smacked yer butt into the mountainside or whizzed around the streets of Manhattan, zooming past skyscrapers, or flying through the tunnels......:wink:
The depth of colours, the realism, the graphics, the smoothness, and the sheer "shootem for fun or die laughing" attitude that the game prevokes is highly recommended.
There are a few probs with the game sometimes crashing back to desktop, but we've still had some cracking games and fun, and when the next patch comes out soon, these current problems will be addressed.

:P what i mean is not it looking 2d its just it plays flat there is no depth to the gameplay on the demo :)

i have a stonker of a PC well sort of hehe :) have to for Q3 :) just that it seems to be a very flat story and gameplay ... maby i need to try the full thing ;) before i buy it :P

Ah so :) hmmm maybe yer right in that respect then, that there is'nt a strong story line but sometimes the simplicity option is a good thing. Lets take ranking as an example, in crimson there isnt any, everyone starts each game equal, sometimes i get a good score, sometimes i gets a very good score, and yes..........i often get thrashed <kite looks sternly at MSD :) ) but it is fun to play whether you win a game or not. For once everyone is not spending hours online just to prance around at the end of it as General or Air Marshall or whatever :)
To be able to customise your weapons and aircraft is also another good feature.
So i guess you pays your monies and takes yer chances, i hopes you takes yer chances :D

Jap m8 did u have a good moan over at the shop forum, usually helps also it lets then know that there has been a problem and they can look at ways of ensuring it doesn't happen again.

naa i e-mails em though :) dont matter i supose its the first time for somethign to go wrong with my orders i seem to be jinxed with online orders at the mo :dozey: i always wanted 3 coppies of the Britny spears album instead of NOFX "i heard they suck live" grrr

:)ill have to wait till after chrismass though :) my cash is going on pressies for toher people :) they best get me something nice :D
