1.02 patch release today

According to Todd Squire the CS lead tester d00d the 1.02 patch will be released sometime today :)

Hi all,

Earlier today, I was going through all the responses I received for people wanting to preview the patch, and I found out from Erika late Tuesday afternoon that her team will be finished with the patch early!

They completed their full test pass on Monday, finished their release pass Tuesday evening, and they are now done!

The complete patch is a self-extracting installer .EXE and is only 2.2 MB in size. It fixes/improves numerous stability, performance, and multiplayer problems, including memory leaks, CTD's, and a sharp decrease in swap file growth, to name a few.

It's early early Wed. morning now, but the patch should be available for download from CS.ORG later on today!

Cor blimey u lot, not one of yer on the rounds to-night trying out the new patch :laugh: what a bunch of early nighters :E
Well i gave it a thrashing on the zone and it rocks good, and so <cough> did i.
Had a few games and this old git gave em some good old fashioned lead up their .......ermmmmm....tails.
Had a 2v2v2v2 game and we all got in, and it launched perfect, there was some mighty fine blasting going on all around, but my partner racked up 18 and i racked up 28, could say we whitewashed the opposition :D
Every game launched, and no one got left behind, so heres hoping we now have stabilty.
