AOL V Freeserve

I was on ****e freeserve and because i cant connect to freeserve 24/7 , AND IM PAYING £9.99 for the bloody thing... so one day i phoned the nice freeserve lady and gave her lodz of abuse (no only j/k :) ) i cancled my freeserve account.... and my freind say "try aol" , cause its fast as fuk. so i tried it and entered my credit card details for the £14.99 a month aol 24/7 0800, and no 2hr cut off..... connected to the net, fast as fuk!!!!!!..... download speed imroved from 4.8kb sec to 5.5kb sec..... and then......

I PLAYED MY FAV GAME....................
COUNTERSTRIKE..............
I THOUGHT THE LAG WOULD BE GREAT............
BUT I WAS WRONG................
MY LAG WAS 150-170 ON FREESERVE, AND HAVE A GUESS WHAT MY LAG IS ON AOL
BBBBBBLLLLOOOOODDDDDYYYYY 300-350........ I DONT BEEEELLLLLIVVEEE IT :)

DOES ANYONE KNOW ANY TWEEKING I CAN DO TO AOL TO MAKE MY LAG BETTER, AND IT AINT JUST ME, MY OTHER FREIND SINGED UP AND HES GETTING THE SAME....
PLS HELP ME..... LAG OF 350 IS IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY

Not much you can do really mate. AOL suck like a leach on speed. Most of my freinds who have tried it found it imposible for gaming.

BTW - a 15 year old with a credit card?

AOL suck, they have a vendetta over the internet, the reason your ping is so bad is because they limit the upload speeds with their servers, so the internet is great downstream but upstream ur getting a much worse deal. I use CableInet surfunlimited and I get a ping of 120 and it's only £10 a month for 24/7 access. And I connect first time everytime, so I challenge any other free ISP to get their arses in gear and do better. :)

does that isp cut you off after 2 hrs... and do u have to live in a special area to recive that isp....
