But now I love it again! It may not push out the triangular pixels of a GeForce by I have one and we are living in harmony again.

Background-----

Did a reformat the other day to clear the sh1te that accumalated in my registry and making my PC all Monday Morning like

Then after reinstalling "everything I needed" started a game of Quake and found that every now and again my screen would stutter, even with a real ugly config setup!! I tried tweaking the game, buggering around with FSAA, messing around with mipmap dithering, re-enabling my dangle whotsit while teaking the v-sync, and last but by no means least doobreeing the fangle dangle (pending buffers of course) but to no avail.

Then it bloody well hit me, I haven't reinstalled the new version of GLSetup, did that last night and everything is well again, woohoo!

Didn't realise the V5500 needed GLSetup but who cares me is non stuttery woohooo!

Btw guys, especially BigD, did you know that when you fdisk your Hard Drive and do a clean install, that usually DMA access is disabled for your hard drive and your cd-roms. Make sure you enabled DMA access (in the device manager) for your hard drive, and your cd-rom. This can sometimes cause stuttering-like effects (especially with sounds).
