I have a LT modem and just updated the drivers to support v.90 which gives me a connection speed of 40,000-41,000bps which is quite bad for a 56k modem.I connect to the internet and a few minutes later it disconnect's it did'nt always do this it started about 3 weeks ago.I've phoned BT and asked them to check for faults and increase my line gain which they did and they said they could'nt find faults (but they did'nt even come out to my house to check for faults, can they do this threw a computer or something?)no matter what I do the connections are bad and unstable, I get bad pings 280upwards I've read http://www.lagless.com tweaked my modem etc which has proberly increased the speed because it used to be 37,333bps.I've decreased my connection speed that has'nt helped !I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING BUT HAS NO EFFECT!.I use BT Surftime, cn anyone help me?
