ff should be off imo, cos look how many flames started on cs saying so and so killed me for no reason i want him banned...
and ff on attracts the muppets to servers and, even with the threat of a ban, its not gonna stop the tarts from doing it.

i just think that u should have the option in clan games.....cos theres gonna be lots of newbies that will play this game just for a laff...wont read the forums and wont know that they might end up being banned
anyway.......just my opinion

For clan games, then FF should always be on. It adds an additional element of skill to the game, and I think makes the games more of a challenge and greater fun - and of course encourages the team play element even more.

For open servers then I think there should be a mixture, some with FF on, others off. Assuming that the tk ban that works in TFC (and I would assume CS) works in FLF. Kill x number of teammates in x minutes and you get a 30 minute ban from the servers.

I'm not really bothered if I get TK'd, unless its by a muppet out to screw things up. The being tk'd and tk'ing others evens up in the end anyway :)

FF isn't going to be as much of an issue as it was on counterstrike, you don't have to sit any rounds out.

However

for my money, it should be kept off for all the public servers. It would make those stupidly mad firefights impossible, and they're the best thing about the game.

in CS ff has its place, CS is trying to be pretty realistic (open to debate .... ;)) and so it seems daft that you should just be able to pound your team m8s with bullets and have them live. It puts a more serious spin on the game which i dont want FLF to be about, FLF is blatent OTT fun where your not gonna sit there for ages chin stroking about why the game isnt realistic

err aye, cos with it off, and with lots of ppl joining and learning the game, it allows for those with a higher/modem ping and half a bottle of vodka drank to compensate for reactions before the text appears over the models.

On on publics i say, we ain't nearly as big as CS and the muppets tend to be drawn towards the big mods, they should leave us mostly alone.. and for the odd occasion you get a pk it's worth it for all the extra satisfaction from playing the rest of the time.

6-way firefights with guns that can fire at right angles; and no TK punish. Turning FF on on a public server brings images of Texas Chainsaw Massacre to mind :)

half the fun is the massive wave of tracer fire following you down the corridors on the ship and the grenades on that town map (it took me from beta 1 to beta 4 of CS to actually bother working out the names of the maps so expect the same for FLF :E )

CS is no fun with FF off ... and FLF will be no fun at all with FF on .. the fact that i can still play the game quite well with my 400 ping and 60odd loss is because of the charge and spray and pray nature of the game .. thats what makes it fun, you can't truely say this mod is trying to be realistic ? ..it's plain good old fashioned FUN.

Don't try and make it complex or it will be spoilt.

well just like in all FPS shooters public FF is off cos youll get muppets and stuff and it gets silly also its very hard to see friend from foe on the maps isnt it unless youve got the new skin and modle pack.

Also clan games its always on cos then its too much like spamming and FF on in this game takes a lot more care no more spamming HMG and also what where you throw those grenades now :)

the good thing is its CHARGE!!!! and die this is the best way to enjoy the mod really HYRAA!! oh fook 4 v 1 EEK!!!.

Crouching improves your aim by miles but if your not with a team m8 its certain death far too many crouch down and i just walk up to them as a heavy and stick it in there head. This is the best way :D. but getting 2 heavys to break down a cap points defence followed up by a Rcon to cap it is good.

Rcon cap faster than heavy by about 10 seconds so its always good to have a fast cap person ;) with FF on it would bt suacide for the Rcon people with the HMG guys cos he would get blow to bits. also i would sujest that useing greandes would be a No No :) KABOOM!! half the team gone in one blast lol.

I wouldnt get my hopes up that ff on would work with FLF on opens becuase the biggest attraction for muppets is knowing they can piss people off and have no other motive but that,i think that would be discouraging for newcomers to the game and end up with this board full of team killer posts(something which has ruined the CS BOARD and the game)

I really dont think FLF needs FF ON other than in clan matches where your team awareness will be tested(god help my team m8s from my grens dear lord do i know how to do the bounce back off walls throw:))
