I'm putting together a website and I want to register it with a domain, and I also need someone to host the site.

Can anyone recommend a reliable company? What are the pitfalls and catches to watch out for?

Cheers :E

I'm kind of new to this part of website design (I've designed them but never really built them), so please be gentle :E

Lo Tonster m8, I have a proposition for ya (no not like that, diiiiirty boy ;))

I've recently aquired a considerable amount of web space with a very good provider, and I'd be more than happy to host your site if you like - I can also get the domain name for ya (provided it's available of course), set up email accounts, give you full FTP access to it etc (or upload the files myself, whichever you prefer). All free of charge to your good self, 'cos I'm good like that ;).

In return, I was hoping to ask for a little help from you (I had planned to anyway after you offered a few weeks ago). I seem to remember your being very much a graphical person, where I'm coming from a coding background. I was hoping for some advice/help on one or two things, and was even thinking of being really cheeky and asking you to maybe do me this one specific graphic I was after...

Anyway, the offer to host your site (long as it ain't porn/warez ;)) stands whether you can help me out or not - probably best to sort it out on ICQ/IRC (#digwar) or by email ( crazycrane@digwar.com )? I'm about most nights, gimme a shout if you're interested :).
