Hi ya Cad - it's WildWayz from #Kevlarkillers :)
I have the great concept for a map, but I am a little stuck on Worldcraft.
Do you know any beginner sites that have step by step tutorials?
if not, then my concept for a map u might like and might make it :)
Here it is...
Snow outside scene - CTs start outside. It is a hostage rescue mission.
There is a church, tall with a tower. Terrors can snipe from the tower, but to get into that position they must leap over a long gap (the sniping position would be able to pick CTs off before they enter the church.
The church has rafters too - and a spiral staircase. Also, it has a breakable stainglass window too - if using another CTs, the others can enter in that way.
There are several prayer rooms, one leads down some stairs.
At the bottom of the stairs, is a cellar-like room where it leads into an underground river to one of the hostage points (you can carry on up the river until u get to an opening where it takes u around to the CT spawn/rescue point.
The other hostage point is in the main church in one of the rooms.
What do you think? I think it would make an ace map - kinda realistic and sticks to the 'assault' style of gameplay.
Both teams have an unbiased approach too
