Question about dreamcast online

Is it possible with the dreamcast to input your own ISP details? I am with freeserve off-peak, and would like to know as I might be getting one for christmas.

I don't think you can, you're restricted to using Segas own ISP - Seganet IIRC.

I could be wrong, but I don't think I am tbh.

There is a way of doing it - I read about it somewhere (can't remember where) but I think you need a special CD off some dreamcast magazine or something.
