umm im getting ISDN soon [w00t!] and im confused about the adaptors. I understand that the ASUS card rules and the eicon diva 2.0 is good, but i here often of probs with the ASUS...which 1 is most reliable and will get me the lowest ping using bt free call in counterstrike? Can any1 plz tell me exactly what the engineers do when they install the ISDN plz? I would get adsl / cable but cant where i lives.

Your probably gonna get very similar pings using both TA's...your ping will vary more depending on the ISP you use at the time and the servers you log onto. I have an asus because it's cheaper than the diva...two top cards, pick one and you won't go far wrong. I think the asus probs relate to a bad batch or something...and some people have probs installing drivers..no harder than any other installation. Is the diva external? I dunno..

The engineers connect up the second line to your house, then attach an isdn box (maybe 3x4 inches? *shrug*) to a wall somewhere in your house depending on where you want it(within reason). Then he runs cable from where your main phone terminal is to the isdn box. Bloke did my house up in 30mins...just have a clear idea of where the box and cable to the box is gonna go before the eng gets there.

Well in that case ill get the ASUS card :) Can the eng put a new phone socket in the room i want the isdn in [there is 2 in the house and they are both downstairs and pc is upstairs.]? Cheers for the help :)
