Is this modem supposed to come with drivers or anything ?

i got the modem delivered with manual, cat 5 cable etc but no driver of any kind..just wondering if this is normal ?

roll on tuesday when the line is installed..(better go find my network card :-))

If ur network card works then ur cable modem will just work magically with it, so long as you tell ur comp that you connect through a lan.

Out of interest. Is it safe to plug in and fire up my Cable modem even though i have no NTL cable to attach to ?

yup. you'll be able to watch it power up and everything, AND give you the green light for ur pc - cable modem link.

They should make a film about that...
