BT Openworlds Comparisons :)

Hehe, I was just checking the availability for my area (warrington) on the openworld site (to see if they installed it in the 2 hours between my last check) when i had a look at the 'comparisons' between 56k modem, isdn and adsl. Well, its damn funny. Go here, http://64.39.11.43/release4a/explore/demo.html hehe the best bit is the download comparison, (hmm i thought the people at bt actually knew what phone lines were capable of). Also i checked the rollout time for my exchange and it sain June 2000, hmmmm i think they are a bit behind schedule :)

If you read the time it takes to download on it and not the actual time the demo goes for (of the speed it shows) then you get the comparison.

i actually noticed when the demo thing first appeared, wtf does it says 56k/s for on the modem, erm, NO! ROFL


and the 56k one m8, goes for 183 seconds, and the ADSL one takes about 16 seconds, thats what you want to look for m8, as sabbeth pointed out.
