i saw a pc world advert in the paper last weekend and it had an advert for a v.92 modem :O
does anyone know of any isp's that support it yet and whether any modem firmware's will be available :)

i had to get a new modem when i upgraded, cos mobo wouldn't recognise me old ISA modem, and bloke who built my old puter said that the next standard would be v.92, so if u can get a modem that supports it (only new ones i'm guessing, prob no firmware for older ones) then get it, cos it'd be more future proof, and better when more ISPs support it.
atm, i know of no isps that support v.92, but i'm sure some will soon.
my advice: get a v.92 modem if u can get one
