I just got a Diamond Supra 56i Pro for my other pc, i installed the software ok and the modem ok, i re-configured my DUN, i connected to Freeserve 0845 but after about 60seconds it disconnects me, its the same with all other isp's, it worked fine in another pc, could it be to do with the cable i am using? im not using the cable it came with, just one i had lying around ???
Thanks

erk, no one to my rescue? damn
I have since tried my own Supra 56E Pro external and it does exactly the same so i have ruled out the cable theory, any other sugestions (sp?) :)
Thanks
Hiya mate, theres a setting in advanced connection options that mentions Auto Disconnect, check that
right hand click on Internet explorer Icon, properties/connections/advanced I think,

Got a few init strings in there, any of them set to establish a conn at a certain rate, is it then chucking you out cos your not reaching that connection speed.
I also see that you connect in this instance @ 33333, bloody low mate, very "DACSy" Bt haven't gone and split your line on the sly have they?
Anyway check your innit strings?

DW2000
Go into the DUN properties and onto the server types tab.
Uncheck the 'Enable software compression'
Freeserve don't like it very much
