Skunkeh - cheers for answering meh question on IRC...

Unfortunatly going near the game with a patch kills the Single Player game :( When I try to load the first level it dies mentioning an 'error on main thread' and some long number :cry:

Multiplayer (so I'm told) isn't affected however...

Is this a problem anyone else has seen? I know it's considered that the single player game is a bit poo, so is this just a clever way of stopping people from playing it? :)

I've been playing the single player (after reinstalling the game and leaving it unpatched)... it seems to be frustrating, a little too rigid and mildly entertaining.

Can anyone offer advice on how to patch but still play multiplayer?

Sorted - apparently the 1.33 patch screws up the loading of the first level in single player - I've found a patch-patch (oh the irony):

Got my hands on CE and installed it last night. I have the same problem:

Thanks Grumpy I'll try the patch. Also when I go into 'Options' the game locks the PC :(

Hopefully the patch will fix that as well :)
