How To Make WP 2.3 Work with NTLWorld And Any Other Connection?

OK this what you do, i mainly do this to play Air Attack PA using NTL. Ok click on your start menu and then to run and put this down
c:\Program Files\Wireplay\wvpowerplay.exe
If you have any problems please replay back

You could also make it a shortcut and put it on your desktop, but I still think it dont work, sorry m8 :)

Umm it does work, People using NTL cant connect to WP 2.3 but i found a way u can and i told u on my first message

Aareon, your help is appreciated but people have been connecting to AA like this for about a year now.

Actually, I dont know anyone who connects to AA on WP2.3 in the old way, virtually all do it in the way in which you describe.

AA2.3 has only been opened up since last weekend too, and without the engineers telling me grrr. We had some problems on it last week, and someone else worked on it while I was away at the xmas party. Looked like he accidentally opened it up to any isp too...

ehm, excuse my stupidity folks, but what is the reason for wp2.3 to be restricted in the first place ?
could it be open to all?

It was all to do with licensing, when BT owned it, restricting some of the online games to UK players only.

If I remember didnt Microsoft kick up a stink as they didnt want it interfering with the Zone?

lol ive been missing tsqn praccys because my dial up connection to wpd was cack ! wish i had known i could use any connection.

licensing shouldnt be a problem now as wp3 is open to all isp's.
