when does the new series start

it's not in the sky digital tv guide for january but i'm sure i remember hearing something about channel 4 having the rights to it this year

does anyone know??

i think its probably about time they started wrapping friends up now

i love the show but its just getting old now- it also looks like the series are going away from funny now more towards serious- just look at the two part richard-chandler-monica thing from the last series

plus fox will go bankrupt if they make anymore shows :laugh:

you have to remember it was dealing with a serious development in the carachters lives and the fact it was a serious subject!

I HATE friends. Its a terrible COMEDY.
Its just SOOOOOOO american & politically correct, I mean no body drinks beer, its all "Decaf" & they are all so nice, no sniping characters, & smoking is totalled frowned upon, and the characters are terrible

Chandler - comes out with a series of politically correct one-liners to the point where he isnt a character anymore but an American joke machine

Joey - has decent double act with Chandler but fails on his own

Ross - What a totally unendearing character, no good features

Monica - Comedy? No, being crap? yes

Anistons - A pathetic character for any TV show - adds nothing to the comedic aspect of the show

Kudrows - Tell me people really dont find this 'humour' funny, as the studio seem to, for me it is by far the worst part of the show ( Although she was quite good in Romy & Michele )

The 1st series was ok, as it was fresh at least, but I hate seeing it on TV now (i'm not being sexist but it is such a girly show & as a bloke I cannot find it funny) - it should be moved to a different genre more like a 'light-hearted Drama' & Cold Feet kicks its @ss in that department

I say we kill all of them because now people I know are beginning to talk like that & I'm from Ireland !!! ( imagine that accent saying 'whatever' ) in fact a coffee shop has recently opened not too far from me & it is full of the type of posers who think friends is great.
