Nah! It's classic comedy, and good comedy never goes out of date.

It was ok for a few screenings!!!! but theres only so many times you can watch it!!!! with the amount of comedy series to chose from now surely they could rotate them a bit better!

Morcombe and Wise... I don't get 99% of the stuff they come out with either. Fortunatly for me, I'm living with my girlfriend and she can't stand any comedy more than 10 years old...

Unfortunatly that also includes Spike Milligan (the true godfather of alternative comedy) and The Goons (which they actually invented radio for... oh yes :E ).

Oh well :(

Eric Morecambe and Tommy Cooper are two people who make me laugh when I just LOOK at them.
Perhaps it's my age, I was brought up watching these programmes, and the Morecambe and Wise Christmas specials were the most watched thing on the box every year. Simpler times perhaps, and gentler humour, but it made me laugh.

ERNIE: I hear Des O'Connor is a self-made man.
ERIC: It's nice of him to take the blame ...

(it's all in the delivery. i guess)
