Is this a graphics card problem?

Certain text within a few games will not show up properly (it's hard to describe what it looks like) but I can't bloody read it.

It happens in UT, Project IGI and Deus Ex.
All my other games (including Kingpin, CS, Rally Masters etc.) all work fine.

I've updated all my drivers but still no joy.

System Specs: Athlon 750, Geforce 2 GTS 64mb, Asus K7V mobo, 256mb RAM.

Having played Project IGI on a friends machine today (PIII 450, Geforce 2 GTS) his game was fine.

So is there something up with my machine or what?

It does sound like a graphics problem.
I would go to the gamesite of that game and see if it is a known problem. If not email them. If so, see if there is a patch.
